About Miriam
Miriam is trained to work with individuals, families and groups and a broad range of populations, ages and diagnoses. Trained in neurofeedback she integrates her knowledge of neuropsychology in her conceptualization and treatment of clients.
In addition, Miriam utilizes acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help clients reframe the role that their challenges and issues play in their life.
At Abaris, Miriam provides individual, couples and family therapy to clients with many challenges or concerns and strongly believes that when people choose to begin living their lives and are mindful of their everyday experiences, their ability to transcend their issues is remarkable, and reported distress decreases. Miriam works with clients to facilitate the process of healing in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
